It seems we might be taking a lot less for granted in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. As a band, we are happy to be playing live music again throughout the summer, though the landscape has changed a bit.
Danford’s went through a major renovation and change in management so we are still awaiting a response regarding booking dates. Playing on the dock at Danford’s has been one of our favorite summer gigs for many years so we hope to return soon.
We also have some new venues on the calendar that we are excited to share with you. The Curry Club at Saghar, in Downtown Port Jefferson, has been developing their music scene. Bands play upstairs under the retractable roof so the weather is never an issue and the spacious room leaves plenty of room to dance.
Our local neighborhood favorites are also gearing up for summer. Mario’s has been opening up their glass doors in order to utilize their inside and outside space and The Country Corner is having bands play in their funky outdoor courtyard. Restaurants creating and using and beatiful outside spaces is one of the positive results from the pandemic.
Adapting to change is what we do best! We look forward to seeing everybody out and about this summer and hope you will enjoy every minute of it!
